Wood flooring warped by water
Water damage in your home or office can come from many sources, a frozen pipe, broken valve or hose in an ice maker, washing machine, dish washer, toilet supply, sink supply, water heater, etc. Water can come from a clogged drain, condensation, toilet or tub overflow, roof damage, window or wall leak.
Often the leak can be slow and the first indication of trouble might be walking barefoot and notice cupped wood flooring. An investigation might lead to the discovery of a drip coming from a water supply line underneath a cabinet.
The next best steps are to stop the leak, get it repaired and to call SERVPRO of Greater Broken Arrow to find the extent of the water migration and to begin the drying process as quickly as possible.
In this situation, the saturated flooring had to be removed. Once the drying is complete, restoration can begin.
