Under the sink can be a scary place. I don't think we will be seeing any horror movies based on what creepy things lurk under the kitchen sink, but it can be an area worth keeping under investigation.
Under a sink usually a variety of plumbing items have been installed. Plumbing in use involves water and connections. Science and life experience tell us that that hot and cold water, pipes and connections are agents with potential for leaks and condensation.
Most folks do not leisurely linger under the sink. (Maybe because of the fear factor.) Frequently the area under the sink can develop a leak that can go undetected and raise the risk of mold growth.
The SERVPRO of Greater Broken Arrow team is fearlessly trained and ready to take on your mold issue in line with safety standards set out by the IICRC. We want our neighbors to live in safe, healthy (and not scary) environments.
